Cognac FRANCOIS PEYROT The vineyard of "Les Bergeronnettes"

A family spirit Jean Baptiste started as a wine grower in 1893 and forged a spirit of passion for the land and the wine. However it was not until 1956 (the vineyard was just 7 hectares) when Jean and Mathilde (his wife) took up distillation and cognac production. The majority of this cognac was then distributed to the wholesalers of the region. Little by little, the vineyard expanded.

Then in 1970, the grand-children, François and Gisèle, decided to launch the brand and sold the first bottle (a VSOP) under the trademark "Cognac François Peyrot"". That is why, proud of this so called "spirit", the House of Peyrot devote their efforts to giving the best of their ancestors "savoir faire" by performing the same gestures for the continuation of "their cognac". A fruit of our love, labour and perseverance.

Today, the vineyard of "Les Bergeronnettes" covers 25 hectares of wines planted in the "Grande Champagne 1er Cru" area.
